I'm taking the american dat (I am BC resident) because I am personally good at organic chem and I think it can boost my AA... My primary goal for now is getting into UBC dentistry as I probably cannot afford schools in the states and I dont want to move too far away from home idealy

On the UBC website it says the quantitative reasoning for the american dat is not required. I am not planning to apply for any american schools and getting into ubc is my primary goal. does that mean I do not have to put much emphasis on the QR section as it will be disregarded? Has anyone else ever done this?? Urgent help, please, as I have already started studying for the DAT
