Need Career Advice

I’ve tried applying to medical school multiple times in Canada and unfortunately got rejected, which has been really discouraging. At this point, I also feel like I can’t keep pursuing medicine indefinitely. I’m approaching my thirties, I’m engaged, and I feel like I need to make a stable long-term decision for my future instead of staying stuck in limbo.

Because of that, I started exploring naturopathic medicine as an alternative path, and honestly, I ended up genuinely loving it. My biggest concern, though, is the job market in Canada after graduation. I don’t come from a wealthy background, so opening my own practice right away — even if it may be profitable long-term — probably wouldn’t be realistic for me initially.

I tried looking at jobs on Indeed, and most of what I’m seeing seems to be part-time, which honestly worries me even more about stability when starting out.

Online, the profession also gets portrayed very negatively at times, so I’m struggling to figure out what’s actually realistic versus what may be exaggerated online. Are there any naturopathic doctors in Canada here who would be willing to share honest insight about the job market, income stability, associateships, or what the first few years after school realistically look like?
Thanks in advance- look forward to hearing honest insight from you guys
