I just found out the only woman I ever loved passed away I’m 3

I’m 33M. I met the only woman I’ve ever truly loved in July 2017. We broke up in March 2019, and honestly, I never completely moved on.
I haven’t been able to genuinely love anyone else since, and I’ve never been able to convince myself to get married just for the sake of getting married. She eventually moved on, got married, and had a son.
We weren’t in contact anymore, but occasionally I would check her social media, and sometimes she would check mine too.
About a week ago, I visited her profile and found a memorial post from her cousin saying she had passed away. After searching, I discovered that she actually died in July 2026.
I was completely shocked. My brain still struggles to accept it.
I know she had her own life and family, and I completely respect that. But somehow, knowing she was still somewhere in this world was enough. Now there’s a finality that feels completely different from our breakup.
It has brought back all the memories and feelings I’ve carried for years, and I don’t know how to process them.
Advice: How do you grieve someone you loved deeply but haven’t been with for years? And how do you finally move forward without feeling like you’re erasing what that person meant to you?
TL;DR: My ex and I broke up in 2019. She was the only woman I ever truly loved, and I never fully moved on. She later married and had a child. Last week I discovered she passed away in July, and I’m struggling to process it.
