One Hundred paid Mocks vs Ultimate question bank?

Hi all,

Sitting SQE 1 for the first time in January and I wanted to ask should I get the paid mocks or the question bank that they have ?

Also is it too early for me to be purchasing these and going through the question bank now seem as I am only one month into content.

For context I’m with BPP and we have reading week this week we are at the half way point scary as I only started last month.

BPP SQE 1 HELP!!!

I started the BPP SQE 1 course last month and we are now reaching the half way point but I feel so behind not in terms of my prep for classes I usually answer the questions and do all the prep for my classes.

However I am so behind on underlying law I have only done 2 weeks worth of prep for land law that’s it. I have not touched professional conduct and only done the first week on Legal services it’s just so much reading too do and my mcq scores are so so low it’s embarrassing.

I just don’t know whether I have enough time to turn this around how do I get more serious than I currently am spend all day in the library just trying to do the prep for the classes.

SQE 2 BPP Portfolio

Dear All,

Has anyone done the BPP SQE 2 portfolio and got a distinction for it.

I really want a distinction but I fear I may not be able to get it due to not doing the formatives and obtaining tutor feedback.

I would be incredibly grateful for any advice.

BPP summatives

The BPP summatives are on Monday and I’m worried as hell about them despite being open book.

I feel my revision hasn’t been well enough as I’m taking the SQE 1 in January.

Anyone have any tips for the summatives?

How much easier are the BPP summatives than the actual SQE 1 exams ??

The summatives are less than two weeks from now and tbh revision has been poor I’ve not done much at all.

Are my notes sufficient enough for the summatives or is it time to start cramming ?

How did anyone that did the summatives find them ? Were you able to rely on your notes ?

SQE 1 July 2026 or JANUARY 2027 !!!

Dear all,

For context, I completed a prep course which finished in December (Part time while working full time in 2025) and was originally due to sit in January, but had to defer due to genuine extenuating circumstances (life gets in the way sometimes lol).

I started studying full-time at the end of March after leaving my job as a paralegal but I can’t help but feel incredibly stressed as to whether I should now defer until January 2027.

I have finished all of the academic law and done Wills and probate and Business Law and Practice. I am currently reviewing all the other subjects for the first time since December. I was told by my personal tutor to take mocks covering all the workshops for a benchmark and I got 50% in Wills 42.5% in DR 42.5% in property law and practice, 40% in BLP and 37.5% in Criminal law and practice, these were on BPP’s formatives covering all the relevant workshops and were timed.

My tutor just says it’s completely up to me and that I have a month until the BPP summatives and two months until the SRA exams.

I seriously fear I don’t have enough time to cover the remaining 6/7 subjects by end of June and actually pass the exam. I am doing 7 hours of revision a day and i just feel as if I will simply fail these exams.

I have enough in savings to basically cover 2 attempts at these exams and also not be working what the hell do I do ?

I’m going crazy tbh idk what to do at all.

Any advice would be useful, like what the hell do I do ?

I started studying full-time at the end of March after leaving my job as a paralegal but I can’t help but feel incredibly stressed as to whether I should now defer until January 2027.

I have finished all of the academic law and most of Wills and Probate and about to start BLP revision however I am starting to struggle massively with the practical subjects I cannot do maths for the life of me ( Got a C for maths at GCSE)

I seriously fear I don’t have enough time to cover the remaining 6/7 subjects by end of June and actually pass the exam. I am doing 7 hours of revision a day and i just feel as if I will simply fail these exams horribly. My MCQ scores aren’t the best either 44%,63%,and 55% averages on Law drills and DA.

My only issue is that idk what to do because even if I was to attempt in January 2027 I’d spend these next few months unemployed and I have to start doing the SQE plus part of my prep course. I also can’t help but feel like an absolute failure given that some of my classmates have already passed and I haven’t even sat the exam.

I’m going crazy tbh idk what to do at all.

Any advice would be useful, like what the hell do I do ?

When did people finish content, I plan to finish learning content on 9th June and then I’ll hopefully have a month buffer to be doing Mocks going over weak parts.

How long did everyone have ? Is 3-4 weeks enough or??

Dear all,

I’m sitting the SQE in July 2026 and would really appreciate some advice.

For context, I completed a prep course which finished in December and was originally due to sit in January, but had to defer due to genuine extenuating circumstances (life gets in the way sometimes lol).

I started studying full-time at the end of March and have spent the past month focusing almost entirely on the underlying law. I’ve now covered all of it and feel fairly confident in those areas.

However, I’m concerned that I may have neglected the practical subjects too much. I do remember bits and pieces, but I haven’t revised them in a structured way recently.

My main worry is whether I now have enough time to properly revisit the practical subjects and still leave a few weeks for mocks before the July exams. For reference, I was spending roughly one week per underlying law topic.

My revision methods so far have been SBAQs, blurting on a whiteboard, and making notes on my laptop.

Do you think I still have enough time, or is this getting quite tight? In hindsight, I probably should have studied some practical modules alongside the underlying law (e.g. Land Law with Property Practice).

Any advice or recommendations would be really appreciated.

Thank you!

Dear All,

How long is everyone studying for? Or averaging a day.

I keep doing 32-33hours a week and cannot seem to get more done this is without contact hours. I do a mixture of MCQS, note taking on my laptop and blurting on a white board.

Anyone have any tips to increase the hours I’m doing or any tips.
