Think there is nothing to do in Fort Wayne?
This online flipbook has a lot of great ideas of places to go and things to do. Please double check with the various venues before going as dates change and restaurants close. (published by The Fort Wayne Update)
Not just for out-of-town visitors, I recommend the Fort Wayne Visitor Guide. (published by Visit Fort Wayne)
For locals wanting something to do that may require a bit more time commitment (but may also open the door to meeting new people while learning a new skill), check out the Fun Times Brochure for class you can take. (published by Fort Wayne Parks and Rec).
Need to get out into nature and take a walk? Fort Wayne Trails Map is a good resource. Please note that some "trails" are just sidewalks, so check the Key before heading out so you aren't disappointed in your experience. (published by Fort Wayne Trails)
For activities Downtown, this website lists events in the core blocks of Fort Wayne. (published by Downtown Fort Wayne). There are several parking garages and surface lots downtown. You may have to walk a block or two (gasp!) to get to your event, but parking is available. Don't forget the outdoor YLNI Farmers Market, which is one of my favorite things to do in the summer. (published by YLNI)
There are festivals nearly every summer weekend at Headwaters Park. Download the brochure from this website. (published by the City of Fort Wayne)
Sports fan? Here are some links to check out local sports as a spectator and/or athlete. (published by Visit Fort Wayne)
Looking for arts and culture? Fort Wayne has a thriving arts community. (published by Visit Fort Wayne) and lots of public murals/sculptures (published by Art This Way). If you download the Visit Fort Wayne app and "check in" at various murals, you can earn points to redeem for FW swag.
