100% commission, 1099 role, with Medeia Inc. Has anyone heard of these guys?

Medeia Inc has a commission only med devices sales role available. I’m tempted to go for it, because I’ve been wanting to pivot from clinical research to med device or pharmaceutical sales for quite some time. However, I’ve had a hard time getting my foot in the door. The only companies that have responded to any of my applications have been scams. With that said, I’m willing to take a commission only role if that means getting in.

I just want to know if these guys are legit. There isn’t much on them in Reddit or Google.

Glassdoor for travel nurses.

I'm going to create a "Glassdoor" type website for travel nurses. Our market needs transparency. I truly believe creating transparency in the travel nursing market will help travel nurses gain a bit more power, especially those that are new to the game.

Taking all feedback. Good, bad, or indifferent, I'm breaking ground tonight.

I feel like I chose the wrong path.

I’m looking for some career advice because I’m feeling pretty stuck right now.

A few years ago, I had a choice between taking a Senior Associate Study Manager role at ICON or a Clinical Research Manager role leading early-phase infectious disease studies across the U.S., Africa, and Bangladesh (NIH-funded research). At the time, the CRM role seemed like the obvious choice. I thought leading cross-functional teams, managing complex studies, and gaining leadership experience would position me well for future opportunities.

Then I got laid off, like many others in this industry. What’s been surprising—and honestly frustrating—is that the experience I worked so hard to gain doesn’t seem to be translating in the job market. CROs and pharma companies won’t even give me a look. After six months of unemployment, I finally landed a Clinical Trial Specialist II position at an oncology site.

I’m grateful to be employed again because I know many people are still looking. But it’s hard not to feel discouraged. I took a significant pay cut and, career-wise, it’s more like a step backward than a lateral move. Now I’m trying to figure out what comes next. The obvious path from where I am seems to be becoming a CRA, but I really have no desire to be a CRA. My long-term interest is in Clinical Project Management.

For those who have been in a similar situation, what path would you recommend from a CTS II role to eventually become a CPM? Has anyone successfully made that transition without going through the CRA route?

I’d appreciate any advice or perspective.
