What exactly do the gems you get from completing quests during a party do? I just started playing CPJ about 8ish months ago when I have free time and this is my 2nd party I’ve done and I’m not sure what these gems are for.
I only have 6 stickers left before I am gold locked and I’m not sure what the best strategy is for trying to finish. I haven’t gotten a new sticker from any sticker packs in the last 2-3 days and I have no more 5 stars to trade for my missing 5s. I’ve tried offering two missing 4 stars for my missing 5 and it’s not working. I don’t want to feed into the people who ask 5 times the amount of stars for a sticker but I’m afraid I don’t have too many options left. Any suggestions on how to go about finishing this out or at least getting to the point of being gold locked?
Does anyone know or have guesses for what the next event/game will be? I forget what all mini games there are because I took a little break and didn’t play the last two albums. Trying to figure out how many dice I want to use to try and finish this game or wait for the next to start.
I’m currently a college student and for the life of me I cannot get a job. All my professors and people I know who work in the industry say how understaffed places are but I have applied to every single receptionist/assistant job that’s available within a 30 mile radius of my home yet I cant get a single response. I’ve applied to many that have said they are “willing to train” or “experience not required” and still nothing. I have 8 months of experience from an internship I did between semesters, have multiple hands on projects that I’ve done, and awards for competitions from high school that correlate with animals but I’m still somehow not qualified enough to get an entry level position in a place that is supposedly “understaffed”. Is there something I’m missing or is it just genuinely this impossible to get a job in the field. Need some advice because at this point I’m about to just quit the entire thought of trying to ever become a tech.
Anyone else’s DM threatening write ups for managers when they don’t get any sign ups on their shifts? Recently our SM said the DM had mentioned if we don’t start getting more credit cards and neighbor clubs we would start getting written up for not “coaching cashiers enough” when we don’t get any on our shifts. I mean seriously what are we supposed to do I can tell them until my mouth falls off how to convince people to sign up but ultimately it’s the customer that chooses to say no. I’ve stood near the register for almost 30 minutes the other day and I know for a fact my cashier had asked about it but they were turned down every single time and it’s not fair to punish us for people using their right to say no to something they don’t want.
