Hit 365 consecutive days of tracking

365 days without missing a day.

I originally started using MyNetDiary just to get a better handle on what I was eating. Somewhere along the way, tracking stopped feeling like something I had to remember to do and just became part of my normal routine.

My goals have changed quite a bit over the past year, but having a full year of consistent nutrition data has been incredibly useful.

On to 366.

How do you view the new streak feature after the morning pop-up disappears?

Hey all,

I've been seeing the new streak feature that MyNetDiary recently added, but I can only ever see my current streak number when I log my very first entry of the day. Once that morning pop-up goes away, it completely vanishes.

I’ve checked the main dashboard config, the "Me" profile tab, and all the menus, but I can't find a permanent home for it anywhere.

Is there a hidden menu or a way to view it again later in the day, or is it literally just locked to that single morning pop-up for now? (I'm on iOS if that makes a difference).

Thanks!

How to freeze your calorie budget in MyNetDiary (Workaround)

If you use a smart scale and fitness tracker, MyNetDiary constantly shifts your daily calorie budget. Even on a "Fixed Budget," it recalculates your math the second your scale logs a weight flux or your watch syncs active calories.

I use the app strictly for food logging and macro tracking. I manually set my BMR based on a Bod Pod reading. I don't track burn, and I completely stopped syncing active calories. I just wanted my target to stay dead locked.

Since you can't natively turn off the weight goal feature, here is how to fix it from the inside out:

1. Kill the sync permissions: Go to your phone's health privacy settings (Apple Health, Health Connect, etc.). Turn off permissions for both Weight and Active Energy / Calories Burned.

2. Freeze your weight: Leave a single weight entry in MyNetDiary and never update it.

3. Lock your budget: Manually enter your fixed calorie target.

Because the app never receives new weight logs or active calorie data, the dynamic calculations never trigger. Your calorie target and macro goals stay 100% locked every single morning.
