About 6 months ago, I was actively working on Fiverr as a professional voice-over artist. I had completed more than 1,100 orders, maintained a 4.9⭐ rating, achieved Level 2 status, and had a Success Score of 8.
Then, suddenly and without any warning or clear explanation, my Success Score dropped to 6, and my account level was reduced to Level 1.
This change had a major negative impact on my business. New orders almost completely stopped, despite having more than 500 previous clients and a client return rate of 8/10 — which I believe is a very strong indicator of client satisfaction and service quality.
What’s even more confusing is that I’m still receiving excellent reviews, clients remain satisfied with my work, and I’ve contacted support multiple times, yet my account performance and visibility haven’t recovered.
So I genuinely want to ask:
Has anyone else experienced something similar on Fiverr?
Is this becoming common?
And what would you recommend to recover account visibility and performance?
I’m sharing this because many freelancers spend years building their reputation and client trust, only to see everything affected by unclear platform changes.
