I’m based in the Northeast and have been trying to understand the pathway to getting a Patek from an AD.

My dream watch is a Patek Nautilus, and I know that’s not exactly a walk in purchase. For those of you who have gone through the process, what does the realistic path look like?

How many watches did you have to buy before being offered a Nautilus, and which models were they? Were they mostly Calatravas, Aquanauts, complications, jewelry, or other brands carried by the AD?

I’m trying to figure out whether this is a 2–3 watch journey or something much longer, and if building a relationship with an AD in the NE makes a meaningful difference.
