Castle Crashers HC (orange knight)

Artist: !Hgastla! on Instagram and other platforms. !msgwuzhere! on gamejolt. And !leafyfallzs! on TikTok and probably other platforms. GO FOLLOW THEM IF YOU LIKE THEIR ART, I like their art :D

Every knight had 2 years of experience of being a knight before becoming a castle crasher. Starting out as royal knights (after training of course) and climbing up the ranks. After all four of them ranked up to the special rank: castle crasher. They threw a public celebration... During this celebration of the second generation of castle crashers, The Great War started (where the game takes place). And the rest was history. (They are in their mid 20s, and there is a 3 year time skip after the great war btw where the castle crashers get way stronger)

idk what to start with... In his youth, he was in a poor family with an abusive mother and father, the only other person who cared for him was his little sister... Getting beat as a regular for doing the littlest things, he built up a great physical residence. His mother died when he was 11 years old. In his teen years, he decided to go through difficult strength training, slowly building up strength over the years so he could actually protect his little sister from their father. Once he had enough confidence to face his father, he did when his father was yelling at his little sister. They got in a fight, the entire house got into a mess, and a lamp was knocked over, leading to the house to be burned down while orange and his father were fighting. By the time they realized, the house was already halfway burned down. Orange tried desperately to find his sister, after struggling against his father and throwing him into one of the flames. By the time orange found his sister, she was already stuck under lots of burning wood. Since he was just a teen and barely as strong as his dad, he tried all he could, but failed. He only gave up after the house was burned black. Leaving him with barely any burns (that's how he kinda discovers he has fire magic, being resident to fire)... Now when he becomes a knight, he doesn't stop doing physical training, making sure nothing like that ever happened again (low-key has a sleeper build).

Anyways now that the lore is over, let's get into this. First of all, he's the one knight (along with the pink knight), that pisses red off the most. if not the only ones. He is physically the strongest and considered by everyone that he's the third overall strongest of the castle crashers (he's equal to green Knight and blacksmith, during TGW and after it). Unlike the others, he doesn't rely on magic, instead he uses his physical prowess, and to balance it out, he has powerful magic output, but very low mana (only being able to use two magic blasts before going on mana burnout)... He usually uses brutal ways to kill or torture his enemies, to make sure they don't harm another innocent person again. to the others it seems psychotic, because they know why he does it, nor do they know his backstory. He may seem like a silly little guy who brutally kills his opponents, might not be the sharpest tool in the shed, and the one who throws almost every party at the bar every other day until everyone is blackout drunk for the next day. But deep down, he's a good guy deep down. And everyone misses that.

what he thinks about every knight:

red: tsundere.

blue: even though he may not know it, were besties.

green: nerd.

blacksmith aka purple knight: w teacher in the chat. (go to the blacksmith HC for context)

BTW!!! HE CAN ONLY USE TWO MAGIC BLAST AFTER THE TIME SKIP WERE HE GETS PHYSICALLY AS STRONG AS SOMEONE WHO ATE A BEEFY SANDWICH(still a sleeper build), so during TGW he's not as physically strong, he has decent mana.

every character are getting head canons, (bosses, mini bosses, regular enemies, etc etc) just focusing on the main characters rn

Let me know what you think about the most lore developed character so far✌️

Castle Crashers HC (purple knight)

Every knight had 2 years of experience of being a knight before becoming a castle crasher. Starting out as royal knights (after training of course) and climbing up the ranks. After all four of them ranked up to the special rank: castle crasher. They threw a public celebration... During this celebration of the second generation of castle crashers, The Great War started (where the game takes place). And the rest was history. (They are in their mid 20s, and there is a 3 year time skip after the great war btw where the castle crashers get way stronger)

a 46 year old castle crasher who retired when the new generation of castle crashers came. (43 during TGW (TGW= The Great War)) During TGW he served as a mentor for the four of the knights (plus pink knight). In his past when he was younger, there were 3 castle crashers (including him). Purple knight, black knight, and gold knight (the two of those are made up ngl🥀). The gold knight is dead years before TGW, and gets mentioned after the time skip. And yeah black knight betrayed the kingdom, after a fight with the purple knight (that's how blacksmith got those scars on his helmet). Also a crazy plot twist that's kinda obvious. Blacksmith tends to get quiet when l black knight is talked about around him.

this is what he mostly thinks about the knights btw.

red: "hot tempered, commanding the others to follow his leadership."

blue: "quiet, but has huge potential with magic."

orange: "physically strong, but not the brightest."

green: "intelligent trickster."

Kinda all I have for the bro man right now, also crazy theory with picture 4-5, that shouldn't be taken seriously

Lmk what you think and I probably might post more head canons👀👀👀🟪 (also blacksmith has the most aura idc) also check out my pinned post for more

Castle Crashers HC (a random Grey knight)

(NOT MY ART)

Every knight had 2 years of experience of being a knight before becoming a castle crasher. Starting out as royal knights (after training of course) and climbing up the ranks. After all four of them ranked up to the special rank: castle crasher. They threw a public celebration... During this celebration of the second generation of castle crashers, The Great War started (where the game takes place). And the rest was history. (They are in their mid 20s, and there is a 3 year time skip after the great war btw where the castle crashers get way stronger)

Grey Knight: a random grey knight that lasts a while, actually helping in the fight against the cone head boss. And being the only one to stick with red knight after he got in a verbal argument with everyone else during the night during Forest levels. After red got over his ego they all got back together as a team and fought the cone heads (they did fight together while getting there, but not as a team...). After the cyclops was defeated, (green Knight tripped him into while he was charging at green, using his smarts to use the cyclopes rage to bait him) the neckromancer pulled up and beat the hell out of everyone there😭🙏. As the neckromancer was about to kill red, grey Knight picked up red knights weapon and charged at the neckromancer... Getting stabbed in the gut before even getting a hit in, and gets a magic blast to his torso, dying... A sacrifice that saved red... The neckromancer left after taking the burned body of the cyclops and the coffin. Dw red takes this personally later during the neckromancer boss fight.

A side character with a death that came to early...

Check out my other post about my head canons (right now only red knight has his posted with some small info on the others in the comments).

Let me know what you think and which character you'd like to see next, and I might post more of them👀👀

My castle crashers HC (red knight)

(art is by sassysnitch on Tumblr)

Every knight had 2 years of experience of being a knight before becoming a castle crasher. Starting out as royal knights (after training of course) and climbing up the ranks. After all four of them ranked up to the special rank: castle crasher. They threw a public celebration... During this celebration of the second generation of castle crashers, The Great War started (where the game takes place). And the rest was history. (They are in their mid 20s, and there is a 3 year time skip after the great war btw where the castle crashers get way stronger)

Red knight: in his youth, he was a prince. Planed to be the next king of a powerful nation, however, he didn't want to. He wanted to be an elemental knight, his family obviously did not like this idea and shamed him for it and tried to force him. But in the end all that happened was that he developed a hatred for his royal family and wanted to prove them wrong... In his younger age as a knight, the kingdom saw great potential in his lighting magic (due to it being the most powerful type of magic), and made him the first castle crasher (after the last one retired back to a blacksmith and the second one low-key betrayed the kingdom). He then went on to call himself the leader of the castle crashers, and had a hard time managing his anger issues with about, well. Anything that didn't follow his lead as the proclaimed leader of the castle crashers... (This is before/during the great war)

Let me know what you think and I might post more of my head canons of the castle crashers such as blue knight, orange knight, green Knight, a random grey knight, the blacksmith, And maybe pink. (I haven't really touched on the HC of pink, I do like the character... I just don't like MOST of their fans)

Anyways let me know what you think and I might post more of my head canons👀
