Picked up a free Sunfish. Any help would be appreciated!

I was lucky enough to pick up a free Sunfish the other day. Looks like it needs a little TLC. There is one crack on the hull that I can find and the sail looks like it needs replaced. Am I missing anything? Where do I start on getting it back on the water? Any good channels or videos to start with fiberglass repair? I've got some g-flex and have worked on canoes and kayaks but nothing fiberglass.

Tips on removing an added layer of paint from Royalex

Hey gang! I picked up this used OT Tripper 172 the other day (for $150!!!) and its in pretty great condition. When I sanded down to add some skid plates and a new OT logo, I noticed the blue color had been added on and it was originally green. I have already washed, buffed, and shined it up with 303 but it still looks kinda dull and I'm wondering if its the blue paint on it. So I would like to remove the blue but I want the advice of strangers on the internet.

Obviously it needs a light touch and I don't want to ruin the Royalex, which is in great condition. Other forums mentions Citrus Strip or really fine sand paper. Any advice? Should I just be grateful for what I have and enjoy my blue canoe with green spots? How do I safely remove a layer of added paint to royalex?
