To those in college, did you ask for accommodations? And if so, what?

I’m an undergraduate in my junior year and the first semester in person since getting diagnosed. It was going okay for a while but I keep feeling worse as the semester goes on. I’ve looked at my school’s student accessibility services, but I can’t decide if any of them make sense to ask for. Homework extensions? Longer exam times?

I have massive brain fog plus fatigue and general weakness. But the severity comes and goes. Some days I’m perfectly fine, others I feel like I’m going to pass out. Honestly I just want to be allowed more absenses so I can actually rest, but my school doesn’t allow attendence accommodations. I don’t know if it’s worth going through the process of registering/getting my rheum to fill in forms/submitting documentation/having a meeting with a specialist to get accommodations.

Do any of you have accommodations? Is it worth it? Which ones?

My other thought is going to part time attendance next semester. It would be frustrating, but might be the route I have to go. Thoughts?
