Has anyone tested the same document with multiple AI checkers?

I ran the same document through a few different AI checkers just to see how consistent the results would be. The document was an old textbook excrept that I already knew appeared in a lot of places online. I checked it with two different detectors and the results were more different than I expected.
GPTZero reported a much lower percentage and originality AI flagged it 49%, its like catching the more paraphrased content.
I am not saying one is more accurate based on a single comparison but the difference was interesting enough to make me curious about how each checker works behind.

Has anyone else tested the same document with different detectors, did you see the similar differences or opposite than mine.

How do you handle it when a client asks you to run anAI detection report before they will pay you.

Last month I got a new client and their onboarding docs had something i genuinely had not seen before. Buried in paper work was a requirement that all delivered conntent be checked for AI and confirmen clean no discussion about it no context and only this one line standing between me and my payment,
Honestly my first reaction was not good been waiting for years and suddenly am filling out a checklist to improve I am a person. But I sat with it and I get it. They have probably hired someone who leaned too hard on AI tools and got burned. That is not really about me it is just the reality of where things are right now.

The part that actually tripped me up was figuring out what proof even looks like. A screenshot of a detection score felt hollow because those tools are all over the place. I ran the same piece through two different checkers and got completely different results. The number on its own means almost nothing.

When you do share detection results with a client what actually lands better a full breakdown or just the final score?I genuinely cannot tell if more detail builds confidence or just creates more questions.
