Is Swiss bolt the best bolt?

Hi! I plan on purchasing my first milsurp rifle at end of June. I’m 95% sure I’ll get a K11 or maybe a G11 or K31 depending on price
Question is, what is the best milsurp rifle at/under $500? (My budget- not including ammo)
Other contenders I have considered:
- Mausers (of multiple countries)
- SKS (sometimes they pop up under $500
- Carcanos

I really do think I’m going Swiss here but I love the collection on this forum and I’m always excited to learn about new rifles!

PS I am not in a position to do serious rifle repair or parts kits. Hopefully one day but not for my first one

Star 30m recoil springs

Hi bought a Star 30m from Centerfire in March.
With heters 9mm it FTEs every 5 or so rounds. With blazer brass lower grain, it’s almost every round.
The recoil springs are pretty much unobtainum. Tried numrich and bobs gun shop, no luck.

I’m wondering if anyone has had luck sourcing them, or has tried any other handgun springs as a replacement. I’m going to compare the dimensions of the spring to other full size pistols but I know diameter is the tricky part here.
