Bad experience with Lone ones
I recently bought a Chrome Ring from Hulk at Lone Ones USA. The ring felt a little too tight, so I asked if I could size up by a quarter and exchange it.
He replied, “Yeah for sure,” and said that once he received the ring, he would send the new one back asap, so I shipped it back.
After that, I simply asked for an update and said that I would like the tracking number once the replacement shipped. Instead of just answering, he replied 😐 one day later, which I had no idea what that meant. So I asked twice politely, only to hear that my words were unnecessary. I replied you don’t have to be sarcastic, which led to further remarks like” watch your mouth” “I am only doing you a favor” Eventually ”don’t text me anymore”.
I was never asking for anything unreasonable. I just wanted to know whether the replacement had shipped and to receive the tracking number once it did.
And the actual exchange was something he explicitly agreed to, so I was surprised by how hostile the communication became when I followed up about shipping.
