Ape Escape 2 had quick gadget swapping in Japan only, so I brought it back to the US version
Was playing Ape Escape 2 and found out the game has quick gadget swapping... ONLY in the Japanese version.
The feature was never actually removed from the US release. The input handling, the gadget roulette, the HUD (with the "?" for gadgets you don't have yet), the confirm/swap logic... it's all still on the US disc. The only thing missing was the function that actually opens the roulette (26 instructions). The patch puts the original JP code back in.
