Looking for the best pleco's that can hold their own in a hap/peacock tank. Not looking for anything that can grow 12+ inch.

I am in the process of stocking a peacock/hap tank. I made a mistake and added a red top black bar zebra mbuna (was in the peacock tank at LFS). He is currently not being aggressive but I feel like I should take him back? Thoughts?
