Looking for some advice. My dermatologist prescribed me spironolactone today after trying topical and not having much luck. She knows my wedding is soon and wants to have my skin clear up so she suggested it. I hadn’t heard of it until now so I said yes. Started the first pill today and then started googling. Now I’m worried after reading all the period stuff if this is really what I should be doing so close to my wedding.. I’m very regular with my period and have it planned just right so I won’t have it during my wedding or honeymoon. I want to have clear skin for my wedding but I also didn’t realize it could affect my period. Should I continue to take it or wait until after my wedding?
