Keeping the May Long Weekend Planting Tradition Alive!
As is tradition, I spent the May Long Weekend planting out my garden. I do mostly container gardening on my back patio. Every year I reuse the soil in my containers, but I sift it out, add fresh amendments, and usually cut it with some more potting soil.
I planted out 14 San Marzano Tomatoes, 2 Beefsteak tomatoes, 2 Moskvich tomatoes, 2 green bell peppers, 2 yellow shepherd peppers, and 2 red shepherd peppers. My peppers even got little peppers on them!
Waiting to be planted is red and yellow watermelon, zucchini, corn, beans, and cucumber. I'll also start carrots for fall, but not until mid July.
Please ask any questions as I love to talk anything gardening lol.
