Care process after diagnosis
I went to see an orthopedic specialist a few weeks ago who gave me an order for a CT scan, which revealed a 17 mm or .6 inch difference in length, my left leg being longer.
i’ve had this condition since I was a kid, not injury related, but never dealt with it. I’m turning 30 this year and trying to get ahead of any knee or back pain that seems inevitable.
my doctor canceled my follow up appointment and will be unavailable for the next 2 months. I’m looking for advice on if I should just start wearing a lift in my shoe and/or get my shoe cobbled with that .6 inch lift.
for those of you who got a CT scan, what was the process after the diagnosis that determined what you did next? is the likely case that my doctor will just advise me to put a lift in my shoe?
