I am looking to summit the grand Teton. I have tons of backpacking experience but little to no climbing experience. How long do you think it will take me if I join a climbing gym and start gathering knowledge from people who know what they’re doing to accomplish this? I’m most worried about time to gain knowledge on placing trad equipment for the few spots that it is needed.
