The Wind Rises or The Boy and the Heron: which feels like the better Miyazaki sendoff?

I know Miyazaki is obviously going to keep “retiring” and making movies for another 100 years, but if you had to choose one film as the better emotional sendoff for him, would it be The Wind Rises or The Boy and the Heron?

The Wind Rises feels like a quiet reflection on art, obsession, beauty, and regret, while The Boy and the Heron feels more like a surreal goodbye to grief, childhood, legacy, and the worlds Miyazaki has built.

Which one feels more like the true final statement of his career to you?
