I’m a beginner bass player trying to develop my ears and learn the bass line to the song "Twilight World" by Swing Out Sister without resorting to tab, but I’m having a hard time following it, so it’s difficult for me to even hum it. Humming helps sometimes, but not this time. Do I need to learn more music theory before attempting to play this bass line? Can you offer a few tips to help with playing the bass line?
