With elections for State Rep and State Senate coming up on September 1, I thought folks would like to know about the People's Pledge Press Release — Somerville Democrats. It was created by the Somerville Democrats to keep outside money out of the races. It was signed by all three candidates for the 34th Middlesex State Rep seat - Will Mbah, Chris Oates, and Paul Ruseau. In the 2nd Middlesex Senate Race, only Christine Barber and Matt McLaughlin signed. A caveat, based on OCPF filings, it looks like Paul Ruseau has accepted outside money.
