Hi everyone. So around the start of April I "activated" an Amex offer and made the purchase on the same day. However, the offer never came through so i opened a chat with a customer care rep and they told me even though it was added to the card I needed to wait 24 hours prior to making the purchase for it to actually count. Is this normal and can anyone find it in text? I asked them and they said most offers say it when you activate them but I've activated a few and can't find anything other then a vague "activate prior to transaction". Thank yall for reading my question/rant.
