The other two followed suit, and they finally got into their cabin. Once they were in

Pearl : Well, first of all, a boat is faster, a ship at normal speed runs a little slower. Second, we're travelling from a further distance, last time was a travel on a straight line, this time its a slanted line but the first point stays on the tangent line and we are travelling to the same second point

Pearl : Should i ring for snacks?

Axel : Sure why not

May : Same with him

Pearl : Okay *presses a button*

After a while...

Waitress : *knocks, with a cart in hand*

Pearl : *opens the door*

CP Platoon Leader : Tsk, fine, just so you know, we're here to escort the ship only *Turns to face the people in the ship* Begin Disembarking!

Passengers begin to get out of the ship, amongst the crowd, one mon was rushing ahead, to a meeting place

Jackhus : *Sitting at the waiting area near the door and spots a familiar face* Hey! Over here! *Waves his hands high*

??? : *Turns his head to see who it was, then points his fingers to signal if it was him he was calling*

Jackhus : *Puts a thumbs up*

??? : *Approaches him* Are you, Jackhus Gleves?

Jackhus : Yep, you must be Jed Haulfy, am i right?

Jed : Yes I am, here to pick up the prototypes Sir Brehem asked for

Jackhus : Here it is *Gives two boxes* Careful, don't drop it

Pearl and the others wait at the waiting area, sitting down on the chairs. After around an hour, Pearl spots a group of Proconian Soldiers going into the port, as if something's about to come. Pearl got a bit worried and was thinking about cancelling the trip home, but she still decided not to as this is their only chance at escaping whatever event that is about to happen on the island. The soldiers station themselves close to the wharfs, placing sandbags around their positions. Pearl watches from the seats as the group continues to grow, with more weapons in hand. Axel and May already fell asleep on the chairs as Pearl told them she would wake them up once it's about time to board.

By 11:10 PM, the ship is sighted heading for the port, close to reaching its destination. Pearl sees the ship and is quite shocked at what she is looking at. The ship was the same ship that she expected, but the flag it carries wasn't the Proconian Flag nor the flag of the PCG (Proconian Coast Guard), it carried a different one, a flag she wasn't familiar with. She then saw someone selling newspapers by the ticket counter and bought one, thinking the answers to her thoughts were in there, and it was.

The ship (PFF Delver) was bought by a private corporation, under an anonymous identity, and was renamed the "CPNF Terra" (CPNF = Communist Party's Naval Fleet). The timeline of events on the ship were not yet known, but it was sure that a platoon of soldiers entered the ship as seen by witnesses on the Plasma Town Port. By 11:40 PM, the ship finally arrives, stopping at the wharf, the Necronian Soldiers aiming for the doors, waiting for what was about to come

Pearl : *Nudges both Axel and May as hard as she could* Wake up Quick! The ship is here!

Axel : *Wakes up* Why the rush?!

Pearl : Stay there, don't move a single inch yet

Axel : Okay...?

The ship door then opened, and the platoon got out first, also aiming at the Proconian Soldiers. Both sides waited for someone to fire a bullet, a bullet that can kill A hundred people. Pearl panicked in her mind, thinking about the possibilities of what might happen next. Then...

CP Platoon Leader : *Shouts* Put down yer weapons down, we'll put ours down in return

P Squad Leader : Put yours down first!

CP Platoon Leader : Fine *turns to face his men* Disarm yerzelves, we ain't gettin outa here if we ain't gonna do anything peaceful

One by one, the soldiers put their guns down. The Proconians followed suit, and the Leaders met each other by the wharf

CP Platoon Leader : Why exactly are you here?

P Squad Leader : We were simply told to watch over the port and wait for the ship to gather information about it

Pearl : Did you pack everything?

They then begin their walk up north, after around 20 minutes, they finally arrive. Little did they know, the ship got delayed and was now expected to arrive at midnight

Pearl : *at the ticket counter* Three tickets on the NFF Delver please

Cashier : You mean "Former NFF Delver"? It's been renamed to CPNF Terra

Pearl : Huh? Since when? It wasn't announced on the papers

Cashier : An hour before it left Plasma Town

Pearl : What does "CPNF" mean anyway?

Cashier : That information is the one I don't have unfortunately. Are you still going to buy three tickets for that ship?

Pearl : Yes fine *pays* Is it's schedule changed as well?

Cashier : Yes, it's expected to arrive here this midnight

Cashier : You can wait there in the waiting area. It wil be announced through speakers when the ship is about to arrive

Jackhus : Okay...*Thinks of a sword...a sword appears in his hands* Woah...where did the weapon go?

Researcher : Got it *carefully takes the other prototype from the glass shelf* You should take off yours now...

Jackhus : Oh right *unmorphs and takes it off*

The Researcher then packs the prototypes up. After about an hour, Jackhus finally takes them back to his office to arrange shipment.

Jackhus : *calls*

General Brehem : *Picks up* What is it? Are the prototypes ready yet?

Jackhus : Just got them from the lab, how do i ship them to your place?

General Brehem : I'll send in one of my personnel for that, I'll send in his identity later so you can identify him. Meet him by the port station, make sure the packaging of that thing is like a normal parcel

Axel : We explored all three towns

Axel : Uhmm *turns around* What town are we in again?

Axel : Oh *turns back to the telephone* We're at Gusurugo

Bolt : Ooh, the Town at the north. Have you tried the seafood there?

Axel : No? This town is famous for its seafood?

Bolt : Yeah, it's the home of many fishermen and where most of the seafood in the entirety of the nation of Necron comes from

Axel : We didn't see any fish stalls nor restaurants when we were doing a lot of turns

May then falls asleep as well. The next day...

Axel : *slowly opens his eyes, and notices May was quite close* Woah... *Pulls back a little before looking behind him*

Pearl : *Still sound asleep*

Axel : Phew...that would've been a bit bad *looks back at May* I don't remember her being this close to me last night...anyways *stands up*

It was still raining, it never stopped. The hurricane was now at the southern section of the strait and was said to turn towards the east, thus letting it's effects last longer on the strait than expected. A while after Axel woke up, May woke up and tidied up they're mattress (no actual bed). Pearl woke up afterwards, tidying up her sleeping bag before ringing for breakfast.

Hotel employee: *knocks, with a cart in hand*

Pearl : *Opens* Oh thanks *takes a tray from the cart*

Hotel Employee : Glad to be of service *walks away with the cart to another room*

Axel : What's for breakfast?

Pearl : Pancakes...with extra syrup

Axel : *Drooling*

May : Looks good

They then start to eat. As they ate, they talked for a bit

Axel : How long till the hurricane would pass?

Pearl : Maybe tomorrow it would go away completely, but it's expected that the ports here at Gusurugo would be back in operation by late at night today

May : Uhhmm, sure

They continue eating. Pearl then took a newspaper that was brought along with the breakfast and began reading. News about the civil war kept getting even more terrifying for each page turned as she read (the headlines). Rumors were also starting to emerge that Zedram would also join in on the Communists Party's Side as well, bringing a Two on One against an unstable nation trying to hold itself together

Pearl : Dang...not here too...

Axel : The what?

Pearl : Conflict at Terra Town, politics and stuff

Axel : Oh, is mom and dad okay?

Pearl : They're fine, we could contact them if you want

Axel : Sure

They then continue their dinner. Meanwhile, at the headquarters in Yuhigo...

Jackhus : *talking to someone through telephone* Yes sir?

General Brehem : How's the weapons production?

Jackhus : First prototypes are still under experimentation and are not being mass produced yet

General Brehem : We'd need it soon, the Necronian Army might recover soon and take back the city

Jackhus : But sir, it's estimated that it would take a few months more of improvement if you would want the best quality

General Brehem : Don't care, give'em prototypes your working on, I'll test them out myself

Jackhus : I would not recommend that sir, we're talking about a mineral that is not fully understood yet

General Brehem : Will you listen to me or would you like a platoon to head there and assassinate you?

Jackhus : Sir...*sighs* Yes sir, I'll send you the prototypes as soon as possible...

Jackhus : Great, I'll be heading there, wait for me

Axel and Pearl : *Asleep*

May : *Still awake*...*Turns towards Axel and nudges him lightly* Hey Axel...

Hours pass, and rain starts pouring down. By dusk, the rain was already very heavy as the eye of the hurricane starts crossing the strait.

They then start walking again, with confidence this time. After a while, they finally reach the clock tower, and enters it, climbing up the stairs for the terrace. Once they reached the top, they looked at the horizon. Gusurugo was huge, just 3/4 the size of Yuhigo (the main city). From afar, they can see a hint of trees in the forest next to the town.

Axel : Wow, this town is huge. I wonder why it's not considered as a city yet

Pearl : *holding a piece of paper, reading it* A hurricane is about to hit Zedram and it's eye will cross the strait? We should get ourselves a place to stay in the meantime.

Axel : We're gonna be here for longer?

Pearl : The boats can't pass through the hurricane especially since its eye will be in the strait. We have no choice. The officials already closed the ports to prepare the securement of boats

Axel : Oh come on, why does this have to hapen...

May : Where do we stay?

Pear l: Let's get looking

Axel : Fine...

Meanwhile at the construction site, the mine has started operating, but only minor, using only one shaft.

Jackhus : Once we sell these minerals, we will definitely get a lot of money off of it. We just need to find a use for it

At the lab...

Researcher : *inspecting a mineral sample, it was glowing* What if i...touch it *takes off his gloves, and puts his hand closer. He then grabbed it with his bare hands* Oh, it's okay to hold it, nice. *Feels a pulse throughout his arm* Huh? What was that? *His arm suddenly starts shifting into different shapes* Ah! *Throws the mineral out into the floor, shattering into smaller pieces, its glow dimming out. His arm turned back to normal when he let the mineral go* What the...Hold on...was that shape shifting? *Gets another sample and hold it again, this time, thinking about turning his arm into a sword. He felt a pulse and his arm was now a sword, floating in the air, but he can control it like an arm* Wha...wow...this mineral...very interesting...

And thus the mineral was named...Morpinite, derived from its ability to morph anything into an object the user is thinking about. The Researcher told Jackhus about it, and they soon discussed on making a prototype product for more experimentation. They then announced to the public about the experimentation, but not telling them about the Morpinite, as it was now a top secret project by them. Not even the officials knew about it

The three then start walking to the clock tower towering in the distance, going deeper into the town, which was already looking like a maze. The place was like a forest, but instead of trees, it was houses and small commercial buildings, it's like this town is where most commoners in Zedram live. After many turns, it finally looked like they were close now, just a few more turns

Axel : *walking* How many steps more?

Pearl : Who knows, could be many, could be less

Axel : We just got even more lost...

Pearl : Hey don't blame me, at least we're close to the building you were pointing at

They then continue walking. Minutes pass by, no progress. Axel was beginning to lose hope as they made the next turn, it looked like the tower was just a tower surrounded by houses, no path towards it. They then asked the locals for the name of the street they were on as a last resort

Resident : You're currently in Street G8

Pearl : Okay, thanks *takes out a compass, faces south* Okay just follow me from here, we'll get out of this place soon

The three then roams around the town, checking every street in sight. The town was simple, people walking around, some selling products, etc. They then come across a blacksmith and decides to check it out.

Pearl : *Looks around, checking out some stuff*

Axel : Why are we here?

Pearl : Just seeing what weapons they sell here, why? Why not buy some for yourself? You might need them for the tournament next season.

Axel : *smirks* I don't need weapons, i already have one

Pearl : Oh really? Where?

Axel : Right here *raises his paw*

Pearl : You silly, that's still not enough

Axel : What do you think could i possibly buy? I have no money in hand

Pearl : Pick one, I'll pay. Pay me back once we get home

Axel : Nah, I'm good

Pearl : Okay, your choice *picks up a sabre and goes to the counter* How much for this?

The Owner : 500 poke

The Owner : Final price, no discounts

Pearl : Okay *pays up* Do you have a leather strap for this so i can wear it on my back?

The Owner : Ah yes i do have one, it's right there in the wall behind you

Pearl : *goes there and takes one, then goes back to the counter* How much?

The Owner : 100 poke, final price

Pearl : Okay *pays up again. She then puts the sabre in the strap*

The Owners thanked them as they left the store. Outside...

Axel : Why did you buy that?

Pearl : Cause i wanted to? Don't ask cause you're never gonna know

Axel : You part of a guild?

Pearl : No...*turns her eyes away*

Axel : Just admit it...

Pearl : I said no okay. A no is a no

Axel : Whatever...say May, wanna do something while we're here?

May : Well that's interesting...

Axel : I swear if it's gonna be someplace creepy i am running out immediately

Pearl : *chuckles* Why? Scared?

Axel : No... it's just not worth my time

Pearl : Ooh looks like someone's scared of ghosts

Axel : Hey! I'm not scared! You'll see

Pearl : Hah, as if

They then continue walking along the path to Gusurugo. On the way, May noticed something in the distance

May : *Looks towards the mountain* What's that? *Points to a tall structure near it*

Axel : Probably a crane, building something i guess

Pearl : From what i know, Mt. Titsu is a protected area where you shouldn't be disturbing nature. This is quite odd...

May : Why don't we check it out later?

Pearl : It's best to stay out of it, who knows what could be going on in there

Axel : This is taking forever...how long until we arrive?

Pearl : Probably another half hour

Axel : Ughh...

Meanwhile, at Mt. Titsu...

Excavators digging, making holes in the ground looking like what seems like a mine. Workers place wood around the edges as they dig deeper. Rails placed on the floor. The crane lifting materials from a distance where supply trucks would only be able to reach the farthest without going into the protected area

Jackhus : How long for the first shaft to be finished?

Construction Worker 3 : By tonight sir

Jackhus : Great, we'll start mining right after, continue building. I'll prepare the miners

The workers continue on with their work. Back to the three, after half an hour have passed...

Pearl : Here we are

Mays : Looks like an ordinary town to me

Axel : Phew...

Pearl : Were you scared of it being a ghost town?

Axel : No...i said I'm not scared of anything

Pearl : *chuckles* Just keep saying that. Let's explore this town a bit, there might be some interesting places not mentioned in the travel book

Manager : Well, the ingredients are of the highest quality, many being from other continents

May : Wow, cool

Pearl : *Finishes eating* Come on, let's go find a place to stay, it's getting a bit late

Axel : Okay

Manager : Hope you'll come back soon!

The three then left the bakery in search of a place to stay for the night. Meanwhile...

Jackhus : Here's your pay, thanks for the help

Meowstic : Glad we could be of service, call us when it's needed. We'll be going now

Researcher : That's a...big rock you got there

Jackhus : Perfect for studying, take it apart and we could have a sample of the insides, which contains its secrets. We just need something that can penetrate this hard beast

Construction Worker 1 : We could try a jackhammer

Jackhus : Try everything, make sure no equipment is left without a trial

Construction 2 : Sure thing *Takes the jackhammer, turns it on, and puts it in the side of the huge rock*

After a while...nothing, not even a crack. They tried dynamite, still nothing. They tried they're own moves, nothing. At this point, they were already losing hope, when suddenly, the Researcher took out a laser beam, and aimed it at the rock. It worked, it penetrated, and finally they can cut the huge mineral into smaller pieces. By dawn they already splitted the piece into 23 smaller pieces. Jackhus kept one as a souvenir, the rest went to the research lab. Back to the three...

Pearl : Wakey wakey

Axel : Five more minutes...

Pearl : Its already 7 in the morning, get up

Axel : Fine...*Sits up* Where to next? Home?

Pearl : Nope, to the town of Gusurugo, our last destination

Axel : Finally, this is going to end soon

Pearl : Get ready, May's waiting downstairs

Axel : Okay...*Tidies up the bed, gets his stuff and heads downstairs*

Pearl then goes to the register and gives the keys back and pays. They then go out and walks to Gusurugo. As they were walking...

May : I wonder what Gusurugo would be like

Pearl : There's nothing stated in the travel book, probably just a normal town

Pearl : Do you happen to make the special pastry here in Yuhigo?

Baker : The Yuhinian Pufflers? Wait let me call my manager *Goes inside*

After a while...

Manager : Ah, so your the ones who wants to taste the special pastry eh?

Pearl : How much?

Manager : 500 coins for each piece

Pearl : *Drops a bag of coins to the counter* Take it, make three pieces

Manager : Will do! Come in and sit while you wait

Pearl : Sure, thanks, come on in guys *goes inside with the other two behind her*

Meanwhile...

The mineral is dropped outside the hole

Explorer : Nice, finally removed it

Jackhus : *Comes in* Hey there, just finished the moving of stuff to the lab. Is this the piece?

Explorer : Yep

Jackhus : You weren't kidding, it's huge

Jackhus : Bring it to the lab for studying, I'll call someone @that might possibly be able to transport this beast of a rock. Any telephones?

Explorer : Inside the truck sir

Jackhus : Oh nice *Dials*

Meowstic : Hello?

Jackhus : I need help transporting a big rock, would you be able to help?

Meowstic : Sure thing, we'll be on the way, what's your current location?

Jackhus : South of Mt. Titsu

Meowstic : Ok, we'll be there soon *Hangs up* Come on boys we got a job to do

Alakazam : Finally, we can get to wok

Pearl : Wow, looks appetizing

Axel : *Takes a bite* It's delicious

May : The puff melts in your mouth too. Why is it expensive anyway?
