Anyone else take the legs off their crickets with surgical precision?

Anyone else take the legs off their crickets with surgical precision?

They are still able to climb the feeder without their big legs, but can no longer jump out. I'd feel bad if they had a nervous system. I can't be the only one handicapping my crickets on here.

Edit* they have a nervous system, but lack the advanced neural structure to feel pain.

Juvenile Chameleon only does tong feeding.

I have a 4 month panther chameleon. It's been about a month and he's doing well, great poops. Only problem is he really doesn't use the feeding cups/bowls/climber. I've tried moving them around, but not much luck. He'll eat 2 or 3 from the climber one, but that's it. Then I come home and he'll eat from the tongs 7-10 more. He's eaten from my hands, and he does like hunting them. I've done dubia, crickets, and superworms. He hates superworms, will tolerate a few dubias but favors crickets. I have everything automated, his light, heat, linear uvb, mister, humidifier but feedings worry me. If I come home late he doesn't eat more and then I'm feeding him closer to lights out. Just looking if anyone had this experience, is there a better feeder for this? Im debating one of those clear one next but it's getting ridiculous the amount of random feeder containers I have.
