As Though Moths Dance in the Stomach
Ms. Stranger's arcane skill can convert memories or emotions into inconspicuous Lepidoptera, providing the Phototaxis Principle with an almost endless supply of material and making her the perfect test subject.
At the same time, Ms. Stranger also uses this arcane skill to transmit intelligence. Countless moths formed from memories return along a single beam of light to the Foundation's lightbulb, where they are collected and analyzed by designated personnel. Although for Ms. Stranger, exhaling and inhaling moths is as effortless as breathing, for the researchers, reading these memories is an activity that imposes a significant mental burden.
