Call amounts??
Does anyone know how many times these employment organizations will call before ADAP decides to kick you? These calls are seemingly at very random times and it feels like a gamble.

Call from Alberta Employment Connect
Got a message on my phone from I guess one of the employment groups that are contacting ADAP members, saying they're trying to reach me and will call me back later (I don't answer any number I don't recognise, so I have the number saved to my contacts just in case, but yeah that's why I didn't pick up the first few times)
Long story short, I'm feeling pretty anxious about talking to them. I honestly don't know what to really tell them?? I'll probably just tell them that before anything else. But yeah, this whole change from AISH to ADAP is stressful and makes my anxiety go through the roof. I got on AISH around ten years ago or so because of my anxiety, Obessive Compulsive Disorder, and depression. As well as being completely blind in one eye.
I also haven't been able to get a job since early December in 2019. So... that's fun.

My Dr. Finkelstein collection! My favourites have to be the plush (it's so cute!), the backpack, and the little statue with him and the cat, which makes me think of my self-insert.

Love Me Like You Love the Sun
Old art of my self-insert and Dr. Finkelstein I made for Valentine's Day last year. I headcanon that sometime after the film, Fink ends up letting Jewel go, realising he can't just create something forced to love or take care of him, and not wanting their relationship to fray like it did with Sally. Later, a cat-sìth witch named Alice comes into his life. She dabbles in witchcraft, and crafts various potions for the towns folk, as well as to tend to Finkelstein's useless legs, and other means. With Alice not only taking care of him and making various soups and teas, but also helping with his work, their relationship turns into a strange, romantic one. Mad science mingling with witchcraft!

Sally and the Sand of Dreams - A Long Live the Pumpkin Queen rewrite
Sally has finally left her overbearing creator, Dr. Finkelstein. But while she tries to find her own place among the town of goblins and ghouls, an ancient and powerful entity is discovered. Sally will have to put her own dreams on hold, before the entire Halloween realm is trapped in a nightmare.
Figured I'd post this here. As a big fan of the movie, as well as Dr. Finkelstein and Sally, the Pumpkin Queen series really upset and frustrated me. I don't hate anyone who does enjoy the books, but I absolutely don't see them as canon (I'm pretty sure they aren't, anyway). So, I've been rewriting Long Live the Pumpkin Queen to have it fit with the film's canon. I do think Dreamland (not Dream Town) can fit somewhat within the Hinterlands, as a realm far older than the Holidays. Plus, Sandman had the potential to be a terrifying villain.
So yeah! I hope you enjoy! The full story will have 21 chapters, and I'm currently working on the 13th.
As a Finkelstein fan, I might post some art and writing here that I've done. SFW, of course!
