Newer Hagibis Dock (Similar to NewQ Dock)
So i just got this newer of the 2 Hagibis Steam Deck Docks, 1 of those clip-on type docks like the NewQ dock, im from the UK and the dock had to take a while as it was sent from the USA via amazon, a bit slow but got it yesterday, have to admit i quite like this so far over a more traditional dock.
I was previously using the Spigen Thin Fit Case, however the Hagibis cant fit due to the Spigen case being raised up on the rear for its kickstand which was a bit of a bummer, however the Spigen Rugged Armor Case has no such issues and somehow the Hagibis dock still manages to clip-on with that particular grip case, probably others that are also thin and flat on the rear.
Got a wireless usb dongle for Mouse and a Keyboard jammed in there, all working perfectly fine, HDMI seems to work fine on my 55" HiSense QLED TV and i plug in ethernet if i have any particularly large downloads and thats again all working fine.
Honestly wasnt expecting much from a device that has full HDMI+USB+Ethernet+Power Passthrough in such a form, i'd assume it would be way too large/heavy/cumbersome but its nothing of the sort, maybe on a LCD youd notice it being heavy because the LCD is noticably more heavy than an OLED, but on OLED i cant say i notice any major weight difference.
Only thing i havent tested is the sd-card port on it, saw the prices of high capacity sd-cards just recently and just "noped" out of that, the rampocalypse was supposed to just affect ram prices for ram that datacenters use, yet magically everything has skyrocketed/doubled, if anyone has this dock and has tried using the sd-card port on its side i'd love to know if its worth getting an sd-card, if the port functions correctly, formats correctly and doesnt overheat and melt the insides then it looks a decent extra storage option, tho with current proces i'm kinda put-off atm.
