03/2026.54 Update messed up my car
Shortly after updating my car today I drove it and it was fine. Once I parked and went to drive my car afterwards this showed up on my car. My AC wouldn’t go to max and it was just acting really strange and then turned off. I did try to turn off the car and restart it before it turned off on its own.. that didn’t help. My husband is a mechanic, he came over to my location turned off the car and checked under the hood and then said he could drive it home since I wasn’t far. Husband drove it home.. the check engine light is also on. Thankfully it drove home and BMW roadside assistance came to pick it up. I’m so angry.. I don’t like doing updates but this morning before the update my right mirror didn’t fold out as it’s suppose to and after some reading I decided to do the update.. no issues with the mirrors unfolding on their own anymore though.. has this happened to anyone else?? My mom was in the car with me and started saying she’s never experienced this with any of her Mercedes and what a piece of junk car I bought 😭 so mean of her I know. Husband says this is common with so many new cars because a lot of things on it is electric.
