The idea that the Primaries developed the translation devices to prevent certain 'undesirable' actions, like swearing, raises a few eyebrows. What else could they have done for the betterment of the galaxy? It's interesting stuff to think about.
Y'know, much of the lore implies the Terrans caused the Cataclysm by trying to create their own equivalent to the Primaries, Secondary Green. However I theorize that when the Primaries heard about Greens existence, they found it to be an afront to their imposed natural order and tried to destroy Green, but it backfires horribly. Meaning THEY caused the Cataclysm, nearly wiped out the Terrans and corrupted a whole freaking system! Now they're just trying to save face!
Also Dolion might not be a hero per say, but at least he's trying to revive his species. (I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt and HOPING that's what he's doing).

But what exactly are the colors exactly? Are they gods, sentient cosmic forces, or what?
And how did the humans try to “create” a new color? Did they try to create a god? An AI? Or what? An new energy source?
