My MIL has been in the hospital for the 3rd time since March. She had hip surgery due to a fall and then put in SNF. While there for 3 weeks + she developed an infection in the hip and had to go back into the hospital to have tissue removed. Then she went back in the SNF and they just noticed that she has an extra 40 lbs of water weight in her body. She's back in the hospital again. She keeps developing issues in the SNF due to what seems like neglect. I guess they are not held accountable for any of this.
