My new maxed out MacBook Pro M5 Max (128GB / 8TB) bought before price increase.

I saved up for over 4 years so I could buy a maxed out M series MacBook Pro to replace my 2019 Intel MacBook Pro. I’m a coder and work with local AI, so it is perfect. I paid an eye watering £7,448 for it just over 4 or 5 weeks ago. It is the M5 Max 128GB and 8TB version with the 18 CPU and 40 GPU configuration. I even went for Nano screen because why not. The same spec will now cost £10,224..!! Just a few weeks later!! That’s over £2700 more! I don’t know if Apple can sustain that type of price increase, but they always have in the past. I doubt the price will ever come down. I love it though, and I suppose it’s very likely to hold a fair bit of value if I sell it in 4 years time. So what do people think? It’s an obscene difference in price, especially at the higher end.
