How do you deal with having "one viral video" ?
I've been posting long form videos consistently for about 4 months now. My niche is software development and I'm posting 2 - 3 times a week.
I feel like all of my videos generally have the same structure, same type of title and thumbnail, same concept.
My videos were averaging about 300 - 500 views each, then out of nowhere, one video absolutely blew up and is currently at about a million views. But all the subsequent videos I post still get the same 300 - 500 views.
I've tried to understand what made that video different, I've tried recreating the concept in other videos, tried to really capture the spark - but nothing seems to be working.
I feel like I'm in a really weird place. On one hand I'm super excited it did so well, but I also feel frustrated I'm not able to capture the success to build any momentum. About 92% of my total watch time comes from one video. I got monetized entirely on the back of one video, about 98% of all my ad revenue has come from one video.
Has anyone else been in a similar situation and how did you deal with it?
