Happy Birthday Minecraft, a 6 year remake with Patches
If my numbers are right, today is Minecraft's 17th birthday! To celebrate, I've recreated a sketch I doodled back in 2020 before I had an art tablet. It was drawn before candles were even revealed yet, let alone able to be placed on cakes.
Sulfur Geyser elevator redstone
A panel I forgot to add from my recent snapshot comic, showing the workings of the elevator I built. Walking over the pressure plate onto the scaffolding makes the geyser erupt long enough to launch the player 14 blocks upwards, exactly onto the scaffolding at the top. Iron bars/chains keep you touching the geyser even if you walk in at an angle.
Waterfall spray using Snapshot 7's new Geyser mechanics
As soon As I saw the snapshot changelog I had to rush into creative to try this out. You can have constant waterfall spray now by installing a tiny geyser underneath the water. Used Light blocks to hold the liquids in place for easier viewing.
