I’m a first timer; just made Zojirushi’s recipe for Honey Bread. Very good! But now that I have this behemoth of a loaf sitting on my counter… what’s the best way to store it?
My partner is finally going through some of his parents’ belongings, and it’s proving to be quite the challenge… so this may not be the only post you see from me lol.
We’re not understanding what the exact purpose of this object is - it appears to be made from very thin sheets of ivory. The open space on each sheet is curious; of course my mind jumps to perhaps writing on it - but who would write on ivory? Sunday is missing (Sabbath/holy day?). Not sure what the metal is. Item is 18.5 cm long, 4.2 cm wide.
In addition to his parents, this object could have belonged to one of his grandparents. Family history includes both France and Egypt.
