Question about Radiocode Safety
I bought a Radiocode 102 on Amazon to measure my cat after I-131 treatment. I started to have second thoughts before the device arrived about whether I really needed it, and tried to cancel it. The customer service agent said they couldn’t cancel but that I could return it after it arrives.
I asked if they resell these devices and the customer service agent seemed to imply that the Amazon fulfillment center makes that decision. Since Radiocode doesn’t accept the return of used devices, unless damaged or defective, I got paranoid that if Amazon does it differently that someone could have used it for something dangerous, returned it with small amounts of harmful radiatioactive matter on it, and now it’s being resold to me.
This anxiety may be overblown but they just delivered it and I don’t even want to bring the box into my house. Am I being ridiculous?
