I made a thing for the section from Darby to Leadore
We did a couple alternates in this section including the Dead Man alternate from the Johnathan Ley maps, highly recommend that alternate. Was a little bushwacky at the start of it (Coming SoBo) but once you get in the valley the trail becomes more obvious. The Italian peaks are incredible and we even saw a Golden Eagle!

Llama alternate outside of lincoln
Question for you all, mean and a couple other hikers are looking at doing the Llama alternate leaving Lincoln to avoid a 21 mile water carry. But finding the exact point where the alternate connects/reconnects to redline is proving to be a pain. Anyone knowledgeable on this?
