Helping people with racket advice part "WE ARE SO BACK!"

Been a while since we last did one of these, but I see a lot of comments on previous posts so thought it was time to bring it back!

So as always all questions are welcome!
Racket advice, my feedback on rackets and even what I had for lunch today.

This is from someone who've tested a lot of rackets and nerded all the specifics.
I wanna say i'm not an expert and don't have +10 years of experience playing padel, but have tried a lot and can tell you how I felt using them and some of their characteristics.

A little disclaimer that I am partnered with Oxdog and a store in Denmark so I can give more in depth advice on their rackets and I do also highly recommend them, but if you got a particular brand you are a big fan of I will ofc help with that 😄
So when giving advice I don't want to be biased, but I think it's fair for people to know that little fact.

What rackets would you like to see a review of?

I want to hear what racket you all want to see a review of next?
Either video format or simply a post here over Reddit.

Currently I have to get them with my own money, but will look into either a store to support me with it or people in my local network who might own the racket and want to lend it to me.

So yeah question is what rackets are you curious on?

Tretorn Supreme VSQZ II & EP x Pallap Evoforce Elite racket reviews

Hey everyone

Was able to bring you guys a short review of these a bit quicker than expected since I already used the Tretorn for a bit and today a pop up match came up where I could try the Pallap.
I will start with a few specs and from there move into my thoughts about the racket.

Tretorn Supreme VSQZ II
Weight: 355g - 365g (mine arrived at 351g)
Foam: Eva Flex Medium
Carbon: 24k
Balance: Medium

From the previous version of this racket it's been made stiffer, but I also found it to be lower balanced. I found it to be a pretty good all around racket. You feel the ball entering the racket slightly, but the surface is still dry. Likely because of the heavy 3D spin surface. This surface by the way is the grippiest and forever lasting surface on the market. You won't find anything like it. The racket was easy to manuever and I found the sweetspot to be around average size. You can tell that the foam helps you gain ball speed in the offensive, but due to the surface it feels very controlled. It's a hybrid shaped racket, but i'd say the one thing I really had to get used to was hitting the ball very centered on the racket. This takes a little bit to get used to on overheads, where I usually use the Oxdog Ultimate Tour X or the Hyper Pro with a sweetspot located a bit over the middle. I will say though after getting used to it. I didn't feel like this bothered me in any way.
The overall construction of the racket felt solid, but if I had to point out one thing is that the surface felt a bit plastic, which I don't know if could be a problem down the line. I don't believe so, but worth mentioning.

My biggest ick with the racket was the rope system. It's something that keeps coming loose and isn't very well done. Also you can't take it off to wash it or whatever. I think you'd in the long run have to think of a way to close it so it doesn't feel lose in matches.

I can highly recommend this racket to anyone looking for a good all around racket. I play both sides and found it enjoyable on both. I'd for sure include this in my Top 5 rackets for 2026.

EverythingPadel x Pallap Evoforce Elite
Weight: 355g (mine is 365g with a protector) so pretty accurate
Foam: Impulse 2 layer core
Carbon: 15k + 3k
Balance: Medium/low

A racket that is a bit hard getting your hands on if you don't live in the UK (i'm from Denmark)
Luckily someone in my network was selling it so I had the chance to buy it and bring this review.

Never tried a Pallap before, but pleasently surprised with this. I've watched Ewan's videos a lot and honestly thought this would be the AT10 18k in another skin. IT IS NOT.
The racket has a medium touch feeling, but a dry surface. With the carbon weave it's funny enough placing itself between an AT10 18k and a 12k Xtreme.

The sweetspot felt like a standard size and not hard to find at all. I'd say what surprised me was the amount of control I felt using the racket. I had an easy time placing the ball where I wanted it and the low weight and lower balance also made it a racket that was quick to get into position. Volleys, viboras, defense and so I had a good time. I think the only thing I struggled a bit with was the smashes. My smash isn't very good so technique gotta be fixed, but you gotta pull down the tip a lot on smashes with this racket. I had a couple I smacked straight into the back wall since I didn't pull it down enough. When I did though it gave me plenty of output. So it's a thing to get used to, but not something i'd point out as an issue. A lower balanced racket will always have it's tradeoffs. I think it's something you will get quickly used to and I only played with it for 2 hours.
Another great thing to add is the roughness on this racket. It's basically the same roughness as you can find on the Siux ST4 and not something I think wears off very easily. I'd say it's so sandy that I might be able to go polish my neighbors wooden bench or baby proof some corners in my apartment. I will also say the quality and construction of the racket feels very good. Not something you are just going to go break easily.

If I gotta point out something bad i'd say the rope system again. It's the same on as on the Tretorn and it's horrible. Gotta find a way to keep it closed so I don't have to keep retightening it. This is a clear design flaw.

This racket I can also recommend to anyone looking for a good all around racket especially one that feels light and agile to use. It doesn't have a need to hit it so centered on the racket, which for many might feel a bit nicer. This one I would also smack into my Top 5 rackets in 2026. I actually really enjoyed it.

Questions you had
Feel and sound
- Both felt a bit dry, but also the feeling of the ball slightly entering the racket. Not overly, but a bit. I think the Tretorn made a larger sound when you hit it well than the Pallap, but both sounded good.

What is the price?
- The VSQZ II you can find for 267 Euros and the EP x Pallap is sold by EP only for 245 Euros.

Vibora & Bandejas
- Both felt good on this shot. I'd say again especially in the vibora with the VSQZ II you need to hit that center to have good a sensation and the help from the racket to gain good ball speed. I wouldn't say either racket hard punishes you for a misshit, but it of course will do a bit especially with a drier racket.

Any other questions feel free to ask them and I will happily answer.
I still got both these rackets so I can also check anything out on them if you'd like me to.

New NOX AT10 12k XTREM Limited Edition

NOX coming with their usual Limited Edition racket of the AT10. Not sure what time of year they usually do it, but here it is.

From the specs I think it would be an EA10 with weight system.
It will be the 12k XTREM Carbon, but it will use the MLD foam instead of the current white 12k XTREM which uses HR3 Black Eva.

I'd assume this will make the racket less reactive. Meaning less help in those offensive shots, but also a foam that is overall more controlled.

The MLD foam is what is used in the AT10 18k 2026, the EA10 and the foam we can remember from the 2025 AT10 rackets.

Oxdog Woman Air rackets - Review

News from Oxdog and I promised a little review on them in the community so here it is

Ultimate Woman Air 💎
350g, Medium foam, Medium balanced (Mine is 26cm with 1 overgrip), 18k carbon, rough surface and a nice big sweetspot.
My initial thought with this racket was that it's basically a Oxdog Ultimate Pro Light, but due to the 18k carbon and softer foam the sweetspot is a lot more generous. It's got the same ridiculously good swing speed, but a lot easier to get clean hits with and feels more stable.

Hyper Woman Air 💧
345g, Medium foam, Medium/low balance (mine is 25,4cm with 1 overgrip), 18k carbon, rough surface and also a very big sweetspot
Pretty much a lighter Hyper Tour X with roughness that make it a bit easier to use your wrist. Also a slightly bigger sweetspot, but the Tour X already had quite a good sized one.

Pure Woman Air 🔵
340g, Soft foam, Medium/low balance (mine is 25.5cm without any overgrips placed), 18k carbon, rough surface and the biggest sweetspot of the 3.
A racket which with this construction is quite a bit softer than the other ones. It is like the ultimate comfort racket. With a low balance, soft foam and not very stiff on the face.

All rackets are an absolute joy to play with and even if they are marketed as to women. I would personally consider playing with the Ultimate Woman Air.

An update on these rackets that I hope is a little teaser for 2027 is the butt cap change.
Now the wrist strap will come out the middle and be replaceable. So we can actually wash it 😆

On the Women rackets it's a 6g plate, but not sure if that would be the same for the unisex rackets coming.

Any questions please feel free to let me know!
I got all 3 rackets at home and can test more or check whatever you'd need.

Tips for the flat smash

Hey Hello it's me again

Now my last post with a video and tips on smash got some very nice feedback!
Truly nice to have someone else analyze your technique. Found out some crucial stuff!

One of the questions were. Are you going for the flat smash or the kicksmash?

So thinking back instead of just smashing it might be an idea to figure out what to focus on first.

From what I can gather the flat smash is easier to master first. I can semi do this, but as always I want to work to a point where this shot becomes unreachable for the opponent instead of being something they can return if they are fast.

So what are your guys top tips for a better flat smash? It could be small or big stuff. Something you changed that made a big difference.

Fix my smash

Not a fan of posting myself on here to be honest. I get a little self conscious.

I recently asked about how people grip their racket etc to find tips for more power.

In the clip it’s me during a practice doing smashes for like 10min. This is the best one from that session by the way.

So people who actually know how to smash. What am I doing wrong? What should I focus on?

Changing grip for smash and so on

I’m curious 🧐

How many of you actually change your grips from continental to whatever when going for different shots?

Do you feel like it made a huge difference?

Usage of wrist in Padel

I'm curious
How much do you use your wrist to achieve power on Smashes, viboras, bajadas etc?
