Do americans actually hate canadians?

American culture was my idol a few years ago. 2020-2024, I was going back and forth whether to pull the plug and do the move. With all the politics, I wonder if the opinion is shared with the population or not. It made my dig my heels in and not want to associate. Want to hear from people there, do you have anything against the people of canada?

If so, what? And what would it take to bridge that gap?

EDIT: Just read the answers, you're all awesome!

You earn 50k$ per day, but every day, a false-fact about you is leaked and everyone thinks its real. How long can you go on?

You earn $50,000 per day.

Each day you continue, a completely false and negative fact about you is anonymously leaked to everyone you know:

  • your coworkers
  • your friends
  • your family
  • social media

Once that fact is leaked, it is semi-verifiable enough that everyone around you will believe it. You will not get in trouble for it legally, as the judges are smart enough to see through the bs, but your close ones are not.

Constraints

  • You cannot explain or defend yourself during and even after the challenge is over. Anyone asks, you have to say 'no comment' or the money is gone.
  • The leaks are permanent
  • People are allowed to act on them (socially, professionally)

The leaks can be anything such as:

- You threw a trashbag out of your car while driving.

- You cheated on your wife.

- You murdered someone.

- ETC.

How long do you go for?

After you settle on a number of days, roll the dice to see what level of lies are said about you. If you pick 7 days, roll the dice 7 times to see the magnitude of the lies told about you.

- 1-10: Little lie about you

- 11-18: Huge life changing lies about you, you might get verbally insulted if people recognize you

- 19-20: You probably can never show your face to anyone you've ever known
