Do we know anything about this character ?

I've come across this character while watching the "Story Trailer" on Youtube and my first thoughts have been "Well helloooo there Sir😏😏😏😍" ! I don't know if it's the slightly raspy voice, or the heavy scarring on both his torso and back (is it lashing marks ? Or knife marks ? I just can't decide👀), but he definitely left an impression here ! 😍

I haven't seen him come up in any other Blood of Dawnwalker videos nor mentioned in any articles or posts (correct me if I'm wrong, but I've looked everywhere and haven't found a single thing about him), and I was wondering if any of you had any information about him ? 🤩

He appears just after Anca says "You'll need allies", in a somber room (in addition to the room being somber I think we can safely say Coën meets him at night, as Coën's own eyes have the vrakhiri glow to them) I couldn't identify (are those crosses or swords-knives-daggers on the wall? and are there books on what looks like to be a table?🤔), telling Coën "I have no love for Brencis' regime, he is a vile monster". That, and the fact that the trailer cuts to Marat almost immediately after, could let us think that this character might be connected to the rebellion in some way (and wouldn't that be interesting to find a vrakhiri that has joined the rebellion even before Coën might do so as a Dawnwalker?🤩) ?😃

Or maybe he is not connected to the rebellion at all (maybe he is against them even), but what we can practically be sure of (if he isn't lying to Coën's face, of course😇) is that he is still someone that by the looks of it does not welcome Brencis' actions with open arms. And isn't that intriguing to think that not all vrakhiri are in league with Brencis/find Brencis' plans wonderful jist because they are vrakhiri themselves ?🤩

Anyway, I just wanted to know if any of you had any information about this character, and what do you think about him and the potential affiliations and role he could have in the game?😃

I entertained the possibility that this character could be the mysterious "Rodrig" (who IMDB says is voiced by James Macnaughton) but the more I listen to James Macnaughton's voice the less sure I am of this (or maybe I'm just overthinking this, as usual looool🙈😅😇😇😇)

Vrakhiri blood as a means to dominate, or elevate ?

Do you think vrakhiri blood has slower and long-term effects on the humans who drink it, besides the curative-regenerative effects ?

And does one need to ingest vrakhiri blood for these effects to manifest, or is coming into contact with vrakhiri blood sufficient to trigger these potential effects ?

Father Florin baptising a baby with what is undoubtedly blood (the red trace can be seen on the little one's forehead) go me soooo thinking about the implications of having babies (who have many many years of life in front of them) come into contact with such blood (knowing that each baby would have been baptized, no exceptions, which makes a big number of people in the long run): would that turn all those people into potential thralls for later use, or would that (from Brencis' perspective) be a way of "elevating" humans to a bigger destiny ?

I am running wild on specualtion here, but what if Brencis is geniunely convinced he is doing humanity a favor, not merely manipulating them for his own gains ? It would give even more context to the messiah-like elements that seem to be associated with him in what has transpired so far...
Like maybe Brencis was intrigued by the ideas expressed by underground Christian groups (persecuted and into hiding at the time Brencis must have been turned, since Christianity started to become legalized only from 313 CE onwards [and on a side note, isn't it dope that Brencis was born in 131 CE?🤩]) before he was turned, but obviously couldn't say that out loud in the senate; then he is turned, falls from grace, loses everything, amongst which the support of every noble, influential family he had ties with; everyone shuns him except those persecuted groups he was intrigued about, and through them he learns more about the theological tenets of the Christian faith;
Then at some point he notices the effects his blood has on humans, healing them (and maybe more), and it is then that he might tell himself that he was entrusted with a mission, a mission to act as a messiah to humanity, saving them AND leading them, fulfilling a vision in which he gains ultimate power not because he does evil (from his perspective), but because he is merciful.

I might be completely off my rocker here, but I just can't help thinking about the implications of the systemic processes Brencis is putting into motion 🤩

Any thoughts on this ?😃

Albertus Taurinus and Zdislav of Laslea

I love to read through Albertus Taurinus's chronicles/journal entries The Secret History of Vale Sangora recounting his journey to Vale Sangora and experiences there (roughly a year before the events of the game, or less ? Or more? I was intrigued by the fact that there is no date in his chronicles/journal entries, but maybe that's just the devs not wanting to spoil something? boh, who knows🙃).
Do you think that he'll have a role in the game, or it's more likely he is already dead ?
And do you think he investigated the "blood-curling howl" he heard at "the site of St. Mihai's demise" (Albertus Taurinus, The Secret History of Vale Sangora, Entry IX), which I am assuming it's where Coën discovers the underground passage to the cathedral catacombs and crypts, or did not look further ?

And what about Zdislav of Laslea, the "hamlet's elder", as Taurinus calls him in Entry XIII: do you think we'll get a chance to see him sitting in front of an izba, silently watching the villagers go about their daily chores with eyes that have lived and seen too much ? Would he speak to Coën if he happens to pass by ?

I'm sooooo looking forward to playing and discovering all the hidden and covert facets of this game's narrative, and was wondering if you had any thoughts abouts these elements ?😃
