I’m starting the Pre-Employment Refrigeration and Air Conditioning program at SAIT this September. I currently have a MacBook and was wondering if anyone who has taken the program knows whether it will work for everything we need in class.
I’d rather not buy another laptop if my MacBook will get me through the program.

I’m starting the Pre employment Refrigeration program at SAIT this September and I’m planning on moving from BC to Calgary for school. I’m trying to figure out if working a part-time job while in the program is realistic.
My plan was maybe working 1–2 shifts a week while in school just to help with some extra money. I know the program is pretty fast paced compared to other programs since its only 12 weeks long.
For anyone who’s taken the SAIT Refrigeration/HVAC program:
Is it manageable to work part-time while in school?
How intense is the workload/studying?
Did most people in your class work during the program or focus only on school?
