Was Gal Farion ever attracted to Ghislaine's sensual beauty ?

According to the light novel, Gal took Ghislaine away from her village when she was still very young and personally trained her in swordsmanship until she became a Sword Saint and eventually joined Paul's party. At that point, she was around twenty years old, or perhaps slightly older.

Do you think Gal was ever attracted to her sex appeal? After all, the story often implies that almost every man is drawn to her striking beauty and sensual charm. If he had taken advantage of her mating season to have sex with her, do you think he would have had a high chance of succeeding?

From Ghislaine's perspective, Gal was not only the master who taught her swordsmanship but also the benefactor who took her in after she had been cast out by her own village. Because of that, I've always wondered whether, during the period before she joined Paul's party, if Gal had been attracted to Ghislaine and wanted to have sex with her, would she have accepted?

After all, he was quite handsome and charismatic himself.

#Spoiler: Has anyone ever wondered if, had Philip survived the Teleportation Incident, he would have continued pursuing Ghislaine and the two of them would have eventually ended up together?

According to the novel, Philip once asked Ghislaine to become his mistress, but she turned him down because she felt she wouldn't have been able to face Eris if she had accepted. However, during her conversation with Elinalise at the tavern, she says, "Maybe I should have taken up Lord Philip on his offer after all." That line makes me think she had feelings for Philip, at least to some extent.

Although Ghislaine says that she gave up living as a woman and chose the life of a swordswoman instead, I believe her conversation with Elinalise reveals that, deep down, she still longed for a woman's life—to become a wife and a mother. But because the two men she cared about the most, Paul and Philip, both died, she ultimately chose to abandon that dream.

I also believe that if Eris had known about Ghislaine's feelings, she would have encouraged her to accept Philip. This would have been even more fitting if Hilda had died during the Teleportation Incident, as Eris would naturally have wanted to support her father in moving on with his life. Even if Hilda had survived, I still think Eris would have supported Ghislaine becoming her father's mistress. After all, Ghislaine was like a second mother to her.

That's why seeing Ghislaine remain alone until the end of the story leaves me with a deep sense of regret. Nearly every other major character found happiness, but she never did. If only Philip had survived, perhaps Ghislaine could have had the happy ending she truly deserved.

Between Ghislaine and Elinalise, who is actually Paul's ideal type of woman?

What do you all think? If Paul had to choose one of them to marry, who would he pick? Which of the two is actually closer to Paul's ideal type of woman?

In the light novel, when Paul wrote a letter to Rudeus, he told him not to make a move on Ghislaine because she was "his woman." Because of that, I get the impression that Paul was more attracted to Ghislaine than to Elinalise. Besides that, I think Paul would prefer someone submissive like Ghislaine in bed rather than someone more dominant like Elinalise.
