Connor Storrie bio added to Television Academy website

Connor Storrie bio added to Television Academy website

This doesn't necessarily mean he's been nominated for Guest Actor on SNL. However, other guest actors/performers submitted for this year's Emmy nominations, including Harry Styles and Olivia Rodrigo, do not currently have bios on the Television Academy website. Interestingly, all SNL cast members were submitted, though only a few have bios on the Television Academy website.

THR's Scott Feinberg predicts Connor Storrie as 'alternate' Emmy nominee for Guest Actor in Comedy Series

Feinberg's recent prediction accuracy for this category: He was 3/6 (an alternate was also nominated) in 2023, he was only 2/6 a week before nominees were announced in 2024, and in 2025, he predicted 4/6 nominees. Keep hope alive! The competition is fierce this year, but to see Connor's name among these great actors is indeed a win. And yes, Connor Storrie is 100% deserving of an Emmy nomination for his wonderful SNL hosting debut.

The Ankler backs Connor Storrie for Emmy nomination

"Yes, it’s basically a backdoor way to get Heated Rivalry at the Emmys, despite the pesky rules that otherwise prevent it. But Connor Storrie’s SNL hosting gig in February — barely two months after his show’s first season wrapped and turned Storrie and Hudson Williams into overnight sensations — is genuinely worthy of recognition. His gift for physical comedy was on display in the stripper sketch — repurposed from his days on the L.A. clown scene — and the ice skating sketch that included a cameo from Williams. And maybe even more importantly, we must treat our rising stars with care — “lighting in a bottle,” says a casting director on Heated Rivalry — and giving them early awards recognition is a great way to do it. SNL hosts regularly occupy multiple slots in the guest acting categories, so you could include Storrie alongside, say, Bad Bunny and Ryan Gosling and have plenty of room left for someone from The Bear." - Katey Rich

Gold Derby's Emmy experts — a collection of critics and journalists who cover television for major outlets — believe Connor Storrie has a 59% chance of receiving a Best Comedy Guest Actor nomination for hosting Saturday Night Live. That's a 30% jump from a week ago.

There's a similar bump among our staff editors, where Storrie has risen 9% this week and now has a 38% shot of scoring a bid. Both groups of predictors now place him within their top six, and there will be six slots in this category.

There's speculation (basically confirmed) that HR 2 & 3 will film together this year. I think season 2 will be TLG & season 3 will be Unrivaled. Do you think they will split TLG or finish the show this year?

DraftKings ranks "Office Dance" featuring Connor Storrie as one of the top 10 sketches of SNL season 51

" “Office Dance” borders on complete nonsense — and that’s exactly why it works so well. When a boss (Mikey Day) gathers his employees for a brainstorming session aimed at improving workplace morale, host Connor Storrie’s character throws a wrench in the meeting by suggesting a prom-like dance between coworkers. Layer in some unexpected — and equally ridiculous — character development, along with an impromptu Mumford & Sons concert, and you’ve got the recipe for one of the season’s most oddly memorable entries."

I remember joining the Connor Storrie fandom in December. It's amazing that he has since joined three feature films: Peaked, Turpentine, & Please (all before filming szn 2 of HR!). He is such an authentic, warm, and grateful person who is living proof that dreams can come true, no matter how big.

Big Eyes - Turpentine?

When I read the overview of Turpentine, I immediately thought of the 2014 film, Big Eyes. Both women are trying to get out of toxic relationships and reclaim their voices through art...looking forward to watching Connor shine in the film!
