The pattern is from Julius Handmade. This made for a great retreat project and took me 2 days to finish. I love the result!

I'm making the backslash quilt pattern, but didn't actually buy the pattern. Does anyone know how wide the border is supposed to be, or have any advice on how wide it should be? The border will be the same white as the sashing.

3 blocks down, 9 to go! Finished with my first color scheme of Elizabeth Hartman's Show and Tell quilt.

The second I laid the fabric for this quilt out on the floor yesterday, my corgi had to wipe her eye boogers all over it before settling in for a nap. 😂

For those of you who regularly quilt with denim, how do you do it and still keep your sanity intact? This has stretched so badly while quilting, and was miserable to piece. Basically every part of this has been miserable.

My sweet corgi already has 2 quilts, but I decided she needed another one because one of her favorite nap spots is lacking a quilt. ☺️

I'm part of a modern quilt guild that donates "heartbeat" quilts to the local NICU. This year's theme is wedge blocks.
