And how do you find living in either environment with tinnitus?

I live in London and since my T got worse I feel like rural would be better but there's a lot about this city I will miss even if I only go to the park at the moment. It's a weird one. And I feel I'll be more depressed and isolated in a rural area since all my friends and family are here in London.

I have everything on my phone on silent but stupidly I didn't notice there was a toggle to turn off severe alerts on iOS also and my phone was right next to me and blasted this super loud alert and now my T is bad.

At first I thought a malfunction and then I thought a missile was incoming because of the kind of alert sound it was.

Sounds from a phone have been very bad for my T, I wish I could exist in the modern world without one.
