Been a couple days since I updated, but I've been a tad busy. But now I have the entire map forested where I want, and have started on paths! Tomorrow is mostly just continuing that.
I didn't do too much today, continued foresting. Trees suck. There's a little bit more foresting to go, and then I can start on paths. Someone on day two asked if I had a yt channel, and while the answer is currently no, I am actually considering it, though I'm already so far into the project lol. If I hear enough interest from y'all, I'll do it.
Sorry I missed yesterday, huge test took up all my free time lol. Today I added the foresting to the first area. Inevitably, I'm going to deforest some of it to make room for rides and whatnot, this is going to be a theme park after all, but for now I wanted the foresting to help guide out my paths. Anyway, only got one area done because today, so I plan to forest done of the next bits tomorrow, and then maybe actually start putting down the initial paths if I get done with that.
Day two of my little project! Today I did as planned and worked on vertical geometry making some small mountains and whatnot, also made a couple smaller rivers and colored the land to make little areas and terrain. Is my little project perfect? Hell no, am I getting happy with it? Yes I am. Anyway I've realized how frustrating water is and I know it's going to be incredibly inconvenient to work with, but it'll be worth it I think. Tomorrow I am either going to start adding trees and forests (and probably start hating them in the process because I plan for there to be a lot) or paths to each of the areas I have planned. I can't decide. I'll figure it out when I get there, or if y'all want to put in your input (I say into the empty void lol).
Idc if nobody cares, but I started a little project today and I am going to write updates here because why not. So, today I did some basic terra forming and land shaping, (I'm not great at it but I'm learning) you can see the minimap to really see what I'm going to be working with because I'm using maximum map size to create some bodies of water. Idk if I'm done with water yet, but at least the main rivers are made. Tomorrow I'm going to start making some mountains and likely going to add terrain.
So I'm anti AI (obviously) and my mom is very pro AI. Now, initially I have tried to state my arguments against it, and she argues back and eventually I gave up trying to convince her. However she has not given up trying to convince me. Recently she made an AI generated song for her non profit charity thing and played it out loud for the house. I went up to my room and played my own music to drown it out. Later she tried to talk to me, saying that when I'm in college, I might have a roommate who likes AI and I should tolerate other people's passions and interests and that "I'm just concerned your robophobia is controlling your life". I've told her to drop it and this is a boundary of mine, and that if she wants to make her stupid AI music and animations for her charity that it's fine, but I want nothing to do with it. She keeps insisting, making the argument that it was like if she was gay and I ran away every time she talked to her girlfriend. (I'm bisexual and Mom has expressed distaste in that claiming bisexuality doesn't exist, but that's a whole nother argument.) Like, what do I do at this point? How do I keep her off my back? Like this isn't the first time either, she keeps saying that I'm going to need to learn it for my future career and that it's like if I refused to use computers. It's just been difficult.
