Some say their are no regular bus from ISBT , From where can I take the bus and what timing and charges ?

Thanks

Sonmarg is relatively affordable

Flew to sringar after going himachal,as himachal gets 2-3x expensive during May - June. But found srinagar kinda expensive and crowded. Was suggested to head to sonmarg/pehelgam / Gulmarg. Noticed more people heading to pehelgam and gulmarg, so chooses sonmarg.

Booked Taxi via MMT ,got best price of 2000Rs. Booked 2 Nights at Mount View hotel for 2k per night,Had heated bed, hot water and good hill view. Food was good and affordable for a solo backpacker.

The whole of sonmarg is located through the highway with good footpaths , so was able to walk through the town in 2 hour time. Took some side treks towards the meadows. There are ponies you can hire and all. There are agencies providing trekking too.

I would recommend somarg over other areas as it's farthest you could get while finding good food and services . Prices are on par or less than srinagar. But place is chill.

A lot of wisdom I have been getting in the hills. They taught me value of hardwork or socialization..since without these 2 hard to survive in the hills
